Why is there a limit on how far away I can items for sale

Our vision is to offer a local platform that can be used for buying and selling in your area.

Deals take place face to face and not by sending items. This means that the item has been viewed before the sale, the seller is paid immediately and the buyer avoids the cost of shipping, postage, packaging and money transfer.

Search returns nothing

Assuming you’re in an area with many items, you should keep in mind not to write things such as size or sz in your search. Just write 80 to find all items in size 80. Eg. pants boy 80

If you are looking for a bike you can type bike girl 24″ or bike 16″ to get all bikes for sale near you in 16 inches.

I see new items for sale

Due to sheer volume we can’t control all items that are created. If you see new items for sale that might be okay if the seller has made an mis-purchase, but if the seller systematically tries to sell multiple new items we encourage you to report the item by clicking on the flag that’s located in the item view. If the same item is reported by several users, it will automatically disappear and the seller will be notified.

My location shown on the map is incorrect

The GPS in your phone can be a bit power hungry, which is why we use the last known location stored by your smartphone’s operating system. If your location is shown incorrectly, it’s usually possible to force your smartphone to update the last known location by opening the built-in Maps app on your phone and forcing it to find your current location.

Having done the above you may need to restart the Reshopper app.

I see items for sale not meant for children

Due to sheer volume we can’t control all items that are created. If you see an item that is not for children, we encourage you to report the item by clicking on the flag that’s located in the item. If the same item is reported by several users, it will automatically disappear and the seller will be notified. The seller might appeal and we’ll decide whether or not the item can be published again.

The specified distance on an item does not quite match reality

When the distance of an item is calculated, the calculation is the linear distance – ergo the direct distance between two points.

You can view the route and calculate the exact walking/bike/driving distance by clicking on the item’s address on the map display (if the seller has chosen to show the exact address).
